Thumbs Up to Shellharbour City Council and the Lake Illawarra Police for the Winners Wear Helmets campaign.
Shellharbour City Council has joined forces with the Lake Illawarra Police in rewarding cyclist for doing the right thing. Cyclists spotted wearing a helmet receive at ticket which gives them a chance to win prizes including a bicycle, Harbour Bridge climb and many other prizes donated by cycle friendly companies in the Illawarra.
Hopefully other councils and police commands will take up the opportunity and encourage people to wear helmets |
